Goldsmith-Schiffman was constructed in 2011 to provide the growing community of Big Cove with a new 800 student capacity school. This school shows off a unique amount of heavy timber framing along with a stone and brick exterior. Designed by Chapman Sisson Architects, this project won the 2011 Top Block Award from the Alabama Concrete Industries Association.
